top heads of state including Russian President Vladimir Putin and South African president Jacob Zuma are in Goa to attend the 8th BRICS summit. Representatives from the BIMSTEC countries will also be present at the summit. BRICS is an association of emerging national economies comprising of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
